Tennessee Equine Hospital Facilities
Tennessee Equine Hospital is able to provide state-of-the-art care for sick horses and foals that require intensive medical care. We are staffed 24 hours a day to provide around the clock care for these cases.
Our medical facility in Thompson's Station is equipped with 22 stalls, 19 stalls in the main hospital and three more stalls in our isolation ward. Our hospital facilities also includes: four outpatient exam areas, a lameness center, a stallion collection area, a diagnostic imaging suit, and both sterile and non-sterile surgical suit.
Facilities that support the hospital include: an on-site sterilization/sanitation surgical prep area, two laboratory spaces for quick diagnostics reports, the Reproduction Center a half mile down the road that includes an additional 12 stalls and 5 turnout paddocks, and a fully stocked pharmacy available to fill all of your equine partners prescription needs.
Tennessee Equine Hospital maintains strict bio-security and sanitation procedures in the hospital area. Owners are welcome to visit their horses, but should check into the main reception area before entering the hospital.
Our isolation ward is specifically equipped to handle infectious diseases and other dangerous pathogens. Bio-security is strictly enforced and owners visitation is only arranged through the doctor on staff.
